Working Hard or Hardly Working

I just bought a new workout dvd. I'm not really worried about losing weight I just want to get into shape. We've been watching Biggest Loser and I really like Bob's (one of the trainers) methods-well the dvd is his cardio workout and holy cow! I only made it 20 minutes and it's supposed to be an hour :) Jared was watching me the whole time laughing of course. I spent the rest of the workout on the couch watching and marveling at the pros in the background-they were really hurting too so I didn't feel so bad. I'm hoping to be able to make it at least 30 minutes by the end of the week-yeah I know-I'm taking it slow :)

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope eveyone had a good and safe night. I always get a little sentimental around the new year-even more so now that we have Logan. It's all going so fast! I can't believe he'll be one in about two months-it's so crazy! We dont' usually do anything too grand for new year's, we just went out with Mark and Beth to Olive Garden (yum!) and then we came home and watched the ball drop. Even Logan decided he wanted to stay up-which we're paying for tonight :)

I have a couple of new year's resolutions:
#1- Chill out-Ever since I had Logan I've been a little more high strung than I would like (I think it's the lack of sleep) so I'm going to work on this

#2-Maintain my current weight or lose even more-I've lost about 10 pounds recently and I'm hoping that once I stop nursing I don't gain it all back
#3-Get my skin to clear up without using any medications-I've struggled with acne for many years and unfortunately am struggling with it again-I've decided to not use any harsh medications like I have in the past-hoping that in time it will clear up on it's own
Who knows if I'll accomplish any of these but I'll try! :) I think it's always nice to come up with some resolutions just because it makes you stop and examine your life and choices.
