Happy Birthday Logan Boy!!!!

Today's the day. I can't believe that my little boy is already one! It's kind of bittersweet for me-I love that he's getting older, he's so much fun-but I don't want it to go this fast-okay some days I did :)

One thing that I am happy about is that I'm done pumping at work!!! Yay!!! I can't believe that I made it a whole year. I'm so glad that I did though-he did so well with breast milk and I really didn't want to spend the money on formula and everyone at work was really supportive so it just worked out really well for me and for him.

Tomorrow we're having a small get together with about 20 of our closest family and friends to celebrate the occasion. Renee is coming home tonight for the party-it will be so great to see her.

Well little boy-you are so precious to me-I don't have the words to describe how much I love you. A year ago today you came into our lives and we were changed instantly and forever. I can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us. I love you! Happy Birthday Logan boy!

Pneumonia and One Year Pictures

We had another doctors visit on Tuesday last week and it was decided that since Logan was still wheezing we had to do a chest x-ray...he has pneumonia not RSV :( It isn't really bad and he's in good spirits and breathing wonderfully. We're still doing breathing treatments and he's on Amoxicillin for ten days. He usually loves taking medicine-but this one we really have to fight him on-it must taste horrible!

On a happier note, we had Logan's one year pictures today and they went really well. We had to take a cake for him to destroy and he didn't like that very much. He didn't really want to eat it which surprised me. This kid gets into everything and puts everything in his mouth including toilet paper and we give him a giant cake to destroy and he doesn't want to?!? Strange! We're going to go pick out our favorite pictures in two weeks so check back for a link. Jared and I even got in on a few so hopefully there are some good ones!
