What I'm Thankful For

In the spirit of Thanksgiving I wanted to write a quick list of the things that I'm thankful for:

( A couple of these are going to be pretty obvious)

  Jared-how he always knows exactly what I need-whether it be an Orange Crush or to just let me sit and knit after a long day/night at work


• Logan-the kisses and hugs and his "love you mama"


• My wonderful mother-in-law whom I admire so much


• Knitting-my sanity


• My job-I'm so glad that I love my job because if I didn't I don't think I would've made it through the last couple of weeks (and the next two months to come)


• My coworkers/friends-I never knew I could have so much fun at work (the origins of a certain word I'm fond of were googled in a case just recently-Emily you know what I'm talking about)


• The four day weekend I'm about to enjoy

I've been reflecting on how lucky I am recently and I know I don't show it enough-so to those of you on this list-Thanks for everything that you add to my life, it wouldn't be the same without you!

On My Needles

I saw this pattern in the latest Debbie Bliss magazine and knew they would be perfect as a shower gift. They were super easy and turned out pretty darn cute :)

Fun and Games

Here are some fun pictures of Logan being a goose--he likes to wear my sunglasses--I think he looks like Elton John :) There are also some pictures of Logan and Alex (he belongs to a family friend) on game day.
