Logan absolutely loves his bumbo chair. Whenever we hold him he leans forward so he can sit up in our laps so I figured it was time for the bumbo chair-and he loves it! Usually I sit him in it while we're watching tv-he's going to be a couch potato like his mom! I can't believe how big he's getting!
Today was wonderful-it was my day off and I had lots of Logan time. Which unfortunately means he didn't take any naps-meaning that he is fighting going to bed. Which for me means not going to bed for a while-he seems to like nursing as a comfort for when he's tired-it's actually really cute-but a little draining on mama. Anyhoo about Logan rolling over-I had Logan lying on the floor-he's rolled from his stomach to his back before but today he rolled from his back to his stomach-it was great!! I'm so glad that I got to see him do it for the first time. I often wondered with a full time job if I was going to miss a lot of the "first" moments but so far I haven't missed one (that I know of) :)
Logan in his jumpy
Doesn't he totally look like Jared in this picture? :)
On Friday Jared received a very special gift from Logan-a card he had made at daycare. One of Logan's caretakers had put a marker in Logan's hand and he moved it all around the page-it's pretty cute-and Jared thought it was pretty special. I also made a collage of pictures of Logan and Jared together and he's also getting a surge protector-something that seems extremely necessary because of all the storms we've been having :). On Sunday Logan was baptized at the church here in Hickman-it was extra special because he was baptized with Tenley Bauman-the daughter of Hope (Hohensee) and Paul Bauman. It was a very special day-lots of family and friends were there to help us celebrate.
